A quick one for you this week with the possibility of another a little later after Brian gets caught up. I take a run through the Strava Club, talk a bit about electric bikes, the black bike and riding single speed.
This week’s show image brought to you by Richard. He tagged Ride Bikes Radio on instagram (like a boss!). We will feature your image as well, just tag us!
New show to finally get 2018 started! We have both been off to a slow start, but a trip through the Strava Club shows us that you guys definitely are not! We are also pretty excited to have over 100 of your in there, which is super rad!
Only 1 news story this week (Uber is doing dockless bike sharing) before we catch you guys up on everything happening on our end. More details about that to follow. Also, cool stuff planned, so be sure to stay tuned!
Oh, and this is what it looks like to get hit by a kangaroo.
A new show? 2 weeks in a row? I’m a poet and didn’t know it?!? Let’s get down to business for this great episode of Ride Bikes Radio. We talk about Cannabis!
If you are reading this at Ride Bikes Radio, remember the hot tip is to subscribe, that way you get new shows automatically, not when I get around to posting them on the site a day later in some cases. Click the subscribe link above to get yourself sorted out!
The Cranksgiving edition of Ride Bikes Radio. It’s Thanksgiving here in the states and Brian broke his crank with his massive Hulk-like thighs, so happy Cranksgiving! Some shout-outs, some bike talk, some beer talk and some links for you this week.
We are back! Finally! After spending a month getting pianos dropped on our head, Brian and I are finally able to start making a show for you guys, talk about bicycles, like we like to do.
Getting back to it, another update from the Strava Club and some news that we think you guys might find interesting.
Thanks for you patience gang. We are back on track and will continue to be on schedule until our Christmas break. Should also have some information on merch for you guys next week or the week after that as well!
A quick update for you to let you know that we aren’t dead, that we will be making a new show next week (!) and that you are awesome for making the Strava Club such a great resource for the every day rider and being a part of it!
As I mentioned, we will be making a brand new show for you guys next week! Also, expect to hear more about decals the 1st or 2nd week of November! Is there anything else that you would like to see with the RBR logo? Go ahead and let us know!
How are you doing on your goals? Bill M put up a great post in the Strava club about his. Join in the discussion!
Bonus show, kinda, for you guys this week. In our attempt to back on track, someone had to double up, and I picked RBR, so you have that going for you, which is nice.
In this week’s episode, I tease Brian for needing a larger saddle (and possibly a trike) after that 200 mile ride he did last month, then we both get up on the RBR soap box for a bit of ranting about professional cycling and safety. We did base these on a few stories, here are the links.
Plus a few (ahem) beers for us to talk about for you guys. So yea, big show this week. BIG show.
And remember gang, you can get the show as soon as it is released by making sure you are subscribed!
We are back, finally with a new episode for you guys, talking about bicycle stuff and beer, like we like to do. An update about the Strava club (you guys are killing it!) and a couple of news stories to peak your interest.
Finishing up, like you do, with some beer talk. Yep.
Thanks for the feedback on the new logo! I have a few more tweaks to make to it, then we’ll be having some stickers made from MotoringStripes.com. I’m still working on other cool swag items for you too, so stay tuned!
WOW! What a week here at Ride Bikes Radio! Let’s start off with some updates from the Strava club where 68 of you clocked over 2400 miles this week! Nicely done! Also, be sure to check out the conversations happening over there, inluding the latest one about chain maintenance. Brian lays down some good rules to follow for us about this too and I have a few tips (links below) for kit and snacks.
But, the big reason we are talking today is because Brian rode a double century! That’s more than 200 miles (or 322km) and he did that in a single day! He gave us a recap of his experience that I think you guys are going to enjoy listening too. And you know we are going to be talking more about this in upcoming shows for those of you that are looking to get into riding some larger miles!
Finally, check out album art! That’s Ray’s rig, with his ride leaned on it. Check out the post on Facebook for more details and be amazed that he can still manage 70 miles in a week!
