Ride Bikes Radio #11: Not In Fort George

Lots of video for you guys this week. You really should follow along on the Facebook page. If you did, you would have seen the back-to-school deal that RoadID was having (I got mine!). You also would have seen all of the videos that we talked about.

Also, Dept. of Corrections via listener Bud, with a great beer suggestion! And this week’s show image courtesy Richard Wezensky for sharing photos of his El Camino with us on the Ride Bikes Radio IG. Remember gang, tag us with the @ sign at Twitter or Instagram or upload directly to Facebook. Don’t hashtag (#) us because we won’t see it! And, keep sharing photos of your rides and lock fail photos!

And Brian schools us on seat posts and trouble shooting those crazy noises that are coming from our bikes. Another great show for you guys and gals. Thanks for listening!

    Hey guys,

Thanks for using my pic!! I love that you call it an El Camino.

Speaking of bike shops with beer, have you heard about VeloCult in Portland: http://velocult.com

For something a bit more trendy, I love the concept of The Wheelhouse in LA (with coffee not beer): https://www.facebook.com/thewheelhousela

Also, if you don’t want to spend $500 for a State bike, you can wait until Black Friday. They usually sell them for under $300 (but they surprise you with what they have in inventory – you don’t get to choose).

Great show. You guys just keep getting better and better.

Thanks Richard! I haven’t heard of those places but will check them out. We have one in Phoenix called [The Velo Bike Shop](http://www.thevelo.com/) that is really awesome.

I did not know about State’s Black Friday sale. Thanks for the tip! All that being said, the Critical that I haven’t isn’t that bad considering it’s half the price (Cheaper than Pure Fixed even).

Appreciate the kind words. Thanks for continuing to listen!
